I agree. I shouldn’t need to know the URL of your RSS feed. It would be easier to find your feed if I only needed to know the URL of your homepage. And I don’t want to update my aggregator if you change the URL of your feed.

Makes sense. Now I just need an aggregator that supports it ;-)
